i am on the track, how i want to run. walking and crawling is all i have or none. don't want to move this way, but that's how it is today. as fast as i used to go, every inch of me goes slow. the youth i have is not the strength to keep me. it seems every bit is leaving (taking my breathing). there's something worth learning living life instead of passing by. no matter what i keep remembering of old days, this is how it is and my only peace is found on my knees. not moving the way i want to, not rushing like i feel i need to, not getting to destinations so fast, heart is learning, slow down instead of bursting. |
Jeremy, now in his mid-20s, has been writing music since elementary school. It started out as the undisciplined doodling instead of practicing for piano lessons. In his early teens this proceeded to writing electronic music ranging from techno to electronica to industrial to rock (and even some cheesy video game music). Then in 9th grade he picked up guitar which became his favorite musical device. Since then he has performed in a broad range of musical settings including: alternative 90s rock bands, as a solo acoustic artist, various college worship teams, and an energetic indie rock band. Lately he's taken his focus to the acoustic realm as a singer-songwriting, still providing quality songs, unconventional lyrics, and melodies that his friends want to sing along with. He brings an accessible set of tunes to the table. You can relax and enjoy, but also take something home to think about.
